Live Rocket Launch in 6 hours! (Patreon)

Hey pals!

My friend Joey(great name) is here for a few days! Last summer I built a 3-stage TVC rocket with an ultra tiny custom flight computer. The goal was to promote a fun competition to encourage folks to learn PCB design. 

The first flight failed when I had some bad staging logic on the second stage which fired the motor when it should have cancelled the flight. Yikes... The second flight failed when a motor underperformed and I left some rogue test code active in one of the IMU subroutines. 

Both flights failed to a degree that I couldn't use them to promote the competition, so I shelved the project and shifted focus to Scout / propulsive landing. Glad I did that, but now that Joey is here, I thought we should give this rocket one more try, so that's what's happening today!

If all goes well, we'll spool up that competition and I'll keep you posted! If not, it'll be a fun stream anyway. And at some point those old flights need to end up on the YouTube channel :)
