Hey folks, I have some updates to the BPS lineup of electronics!

The first is Arc - the tiniest little beast of a dual deploy flight computer. This is for use mostly in high power rockets, and has a ton of data logging features! Right now, this is just the development version(this computer is "Arc D1"). Several more rounds of development are needed before this can be safely flown as the primary flight computer for a rocket. The barometer needs an upgrade, I'm not thrilled with the physical layout of some components, etc - stay tuned as the computer progresses! Hoping to have more details about the system up on the BPS website soon as well.

Next up is Impulse! This is the BPS launch pad computer. Impulse is also still in development since the first computer was built this past winter(the current version is Impulse D2). I have plans to open source a lot of the ground side software in the future - Impulse is built with flexibility in mind. Basically every input or output the processor is capable of has a dedicated jumper wire port for the user, and Impulse fits right into the Arduino programming environment. I'd guess the computer needs one or two more revisions before it's ready for public use, but it has been reliably launching rockets for all of 2018!

That's all for now - tomorrow Episode 1 of Landing Model Rockets goes public. Stay tuned for Episode 2, which should come out next week!

Blue skies,

Joe
