Background: Every year where I'm from, there's a Japanese festival in January, Being half-Japanese, I've volunteered for this event for many years since I was a teen. Due to COVID, it hasn't been running since 2019 but as restrictions eased, the festival was finally back up in 2023! One of the main perks of volunteering is that I get to wear a Kimono for the occasion and as you probably guessed; I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a few photos in it 😜
