Day 6 of Genshin Impact Month - featuring Barbara!

As advised by the Knights of Favonius, Aether made a visit to the Favonius Cathedral to better acquaint himself with the customs and traditions of Mondstadt. Getting around anywhere was a treacherous task for Aether, but he seemingly made it to the foot of the cathedral in one piece, where he tentatively approached the front gate.

He was immediately greeted by Barbara, the deacon of the Church of Favonius who invited him in with a warm smile. Sister to Jean, she was aware that she'd be looking after Aether for the day in which she had prepared a special event for. Whilst Aether had exercised scepticism when interacting with anyone since arriving in Mondstadt, something about Barbara's overall demeanour was welcoming and he felt safe in her presence, to which he obliged.

What took place right after, was again to Aether's surprise, as he found himself stuck to Barbara's silky soles whilst she sang an enchanting tune to the tiny traveller. Aether by now has been stepped on by quite a few locals of Mondstadt, but in comparison to the other experiences, Barbara's feet were extremely soft and her song filled him with a strange energy that he had not yet felt before. The whole act to Aether, felt like a twisted variation of being rocked to sleep...

Following the encounter, Aether felt conflicted. Although he felt physically squished and compressed, he had felt more lively and energetic than he ever had since arriving in Teyvat. Was it merely Barbara's uplifting presence or was he beginning to enjoy being underneath the feet of others? Perhaps he wanted to learn about about the 'Culture' within Mondstadt...
