"Kazuho requested Deku’s aid and immediately relayed the situation on the frontlines; her and her fellow Vigilantes encountered the unknown villain just moments ago. They were all defeated and she would have been too, but it was Katsuki Bakugou’s sudden interference that allowed her to escape. Deku’s resolve hardened as he listened to Kazuho’s pleas for help. Knowing that Bakugou may still be on the frontlines as they spoke, Deku knew he had to re-enter the fray somehow.

Yet Deku hesitated, he had given up so much of his power already, he was already at the brink as a result of project ‘All For Nut’. There was a real risk that he would be permanently de-powered... Or worse. But in that moment, he realised that this was what being a hero was all about: standing up against evil, even in the face of uncertainty and danger.
