So I'm well aware that a lot of my fans enjoy seeing hairier guys, and I've been thinking of ways to expand upon my collection of hairy OCs. Unfortunately my tried and true method of meticulously grafting on those hairy Kul'tiran chest textures to other races has become rather impractical and ugly. Even with Orcs it's always been a rather tricky process.

So I decided to finally research some "hairy" brushes that I could use to draw on some "hairy" textures. The results are reasonable, though nothing great imo. Could certainly use more fine tuning over time. At least Mr. Hornyfang's owner likes what he sees, but please let me know what you think as well. 

Also please note that his nipples look weird because I didn't really do my usual post processing for any of these pics. A-F are all iterative steps from one another, with A naturally being the ugliest. Anyways, of note are:

• C is the hairiest, though I could certainly make him even more hairy than this but I think at this point we're reaching diminishing returns. Mr. Hornyfang's owner personally likes this look, but Siggy doesn't. Siggy thinks it's too much of a harsh contrast between the hairy/smooth sections of his body, and is starting to look severely off-model. I agree with Siggy so I probably won't use this level of hairiness unless if specifically requested.
• D is on the opposite end, by far the lightest (again, he could be made lighter).
• F is the version I'm personally going with atm. I think it's the most balanced.
• E is F but with a lighter chest.

OG of course, is how he looked prior to these new changes. Though I don't have a render of it, I can assure you his back is hairy as well. 

There's one picture from #84 so that you can see what a difference these new textures make. If I find the time for it, I could certainly revisit all of the Hornyfang-related projects with these new textures. I would do that for a friend.

We had a discussion on how the hair "layer" should interact with tattoos/warpaints as well. I think the following order is reasonable: warpaint covers over hair, but tattoos don't. So since Hornyfang has warpaint on his skin, his hair would be mostly covered up by the warpaint. It's really just a personal preference thing.

These textures are very modular, and even if they aren't, I could easily redraw them to suit other races now that I know how to tweak them a bit. So hopefully this means more hairy OCs to satiate everybody's needs.
