Ah, so it's being translated from Japanese > Chinese > English? From the little Japanese I know, it's still pretty accurate. What's the Chinese Gaki community like? Is it bigger than the English one?

Yep that's correct, my Chinese is better than my Japanese (which is "I've-watched-anime-for-20-years-Level). I'm not sure about how big the Chinese gaki community is, its tough to gague cause they mostly just upload on bilibili (and often the videos get taken down really quick), but the people that sub the shows are incredible. They do everything from Gaki to Wed to even stuff like Downtown DX, back in the day they even completed their subs of the new years batsus in like two weeks after release, its really astounding the effort they put in.
