Hey all.

I figured I'd pop over and say hello, give a general update of what's going on. I've had to consider the scope and drive for my projects, what I can achieve reasonably while maintaining some degree of a healthy lifestyle and setting aside time for commissions.

The last year has been a real growth experience for me. I was able to achieve a lot more than I originally thought, but much of it is not in a state I'm happy with sharing. In terms of mechanics and programming I feel strong, in terms of art I feel strong, but merging them together can be really tricky and time consuming. I sat down and calculated it out, and to finish developing my flagship project would take me approximately 2 years of non-stop daily work. It's not viable for my business at this time.

I'm going to give a lot more focus to the smaller and more reasonable projects I've been developing. I want to give myself some freedom to explore more ideas with Monchin Merger, and an untitled project I've been cooking on for a year or so, to keep growing as an artist and game dev.

Thanks for being so patient. I worry sometimes that I don't put out enough, but I'd rather go more slowly and try to align my goals with my means rather than rush out anything else that's unfinished. I'll continue to put out commissions and personal pieces in the meantime for consistent content, and release little blurbs of games now and then!

Thanks for making this job possible with all your support, everyone.

Yeah, it's really cool getting to put my physics knowledge to applications, but I have gotten better at managing project scope and I gotta find the right way forward! Thanks!
