Hey all! I've been working really hard on Rapturous as my school quarter finishes up. I've now got access to an inventory system and I've done several backgrounds and assets. There will be a release this month for the correct patron tier, likely once my finals are over and I can move to game development full time.

I have a few ideas for how I should implement future stuff. I was thinking about how to make the combat more interesting... after hours and hours of trying different systems, I realized that I should just keep it simple. I'm adding a feature that will let players input their own commands in combat. Using context clues the player will be able to get secret victories on enemies by typing things like "use item" or "touch head."  I think that this will offer some fun variety and secrets. 

This game is supposed to sorta mimick choose-your-own-adventure games so I feel it's a better direction than adapting the combat. I'm open to new ideas as I keep moving forward! Right now the focus is going to be finishing more dates and adding more art to the game.
