BfA: The Honeybee gold rush (Patreon)

With the advent of patch 8.2.5 a new mount was added to the game, and with it a golden gold making opportunity has been active for a while. The jelly needed to buy the mount can be traded to other players, and if you like farming you can still make a decent amount of gold!

What is this?

Sadly this method will only work for Alliance players, as the new honeybee mount is only available for them. 8.2.5 added a whiole new reputation around obtaining the bee mount, located in Stormsong Valley. To get reputation you need to turn in loads of Thin Jelly or the upgraded Rich and Royal Jellies. 

The jellies can be traded, so players looking to pay their way through can do so, so they are selling for quite high prices, as you can see below, and this is from one of the highest pop EU realms. 

Obtaining the jellies

The basic Thin Jelly is looted from nodes that can spawn all over Stormsong Valley. Once you hit Revered With the honeyback Hive you can buy an item that will show the nodes on your minimap, saving you a ton of effort. 

To speed up the farm you can download this addon https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/jelly-deposit-locations to use it with Gathermate2, this will show the spawn points on your map and you can VERY quickly fly between them to maximize your opportunities. You can also use phasing to quickly check a spawn point multiple time which will help you get jelly even faster. 

Sell in large stacks

To get to exalted players will need roughly 2000 thin jelly, so you want to sell in large stacks. You also most likely want to trade in your jelly to the Royal Jelly. This will save your buyers tons of time when turning in, as it gives 8 times as much reputation. Make sure you trade them in at the hivemother though, rather than combining them as the combine rate is MUCH worse. 

Players will still need about 250 Royal Jelly, so stacks of 50 might be very appropriate to ensure they get the exact amount they need. TSM will not help too much right now as the price is still trending downwards, so I suggest just posting them using Auctionator. Stacks of 200, 100 and 50 all make sense, so feel free to experiment based on what others are NOT doing on your realm!
