Hey Fam! Hope you are doing so well.

This week, we recreated a great effect from my friend Serge's channel. He created a super great looking glow effect inside of Final Cut Pro.

That got me thinking about how it would be amazing to just apply that into Final Cut Pro as an effect, rather than rebuilding it every time!

Then as I explore more, I thought it would be fun to take it to another level, and add some cool effects, like an inner glow, as well as making the glow look somewhat smokey.

You can watch that tutorial here

And as always, I have created a download for you to use! It comes with everything we covered in the tutorial, as well as a few extra bells and whistles. I hope this is helpful to you in some way!

As always, I am soooooo grateful for your continued support. It's crazy to me I get to do this job full time, and a large reason for that is because of your membership. So thank you!

There's an auto installer, and a manual version! Just double click the installer, or drag the unzipped Smokey Glow Manual into Movies > Motion Templates > Effects > FCB's Patreon (Or whichever folder you like)

inwas wondering do you have a tutorial on how to create a colored light trace around an object? Like if I wanted a light shine to run the outline of say, a logo. Hope that makes sense.
