The Final Cut Bro in 2024! (Patreon)

Hey Fam!
I hope you have all had an incredible holiday season. I wanted to take a moment to let you know what's going on in 2024 with my channel.

Real quick, I wanted to apologize for being radio silent over the last several weeks. I really did not anticipate just how busy I was going to be at the end of the year, and will definitely need to plan around that for future holiday seasons.  Between Christmas, New Years, my 5th wedding anniversary, flying across the US to film for a client, and then capping it all off with getting sick, it truly has been a very busy time!

I wanted to make this post in a video format, but with me having gotten sick, I just didn't quite have the energy to do so.

Okay so on with what to expect from the channel this year!

Firstly, just like last year, I am aiming to have 2+ downloads each month for you here on Patreon. These will typically be small graphics / plugins that will help elevate your video editing. And of course each of these I will show how to create over on the channel. I have also discovered a great way of building an installer for each plugin / template, so hopefully that will make your lives even easier whenever you go to install a download.

Secondly, I am officially working on a course to help everyone get started and to master Apple Motion. This is a huge understaking, so bare with me while I work on it! That said, as Patrons, you can expect to receive a huge discount once it goes live!

Thirdly, I want to focus on having even more livestreams this year. This is by far my favorite way to connect with all of you. That said, previously I was more focused on offering these specifically to patrons. But I have found that due to my number of patrons being much smaller than my subscriber count on YouTube, it typically didn't work out for more than just a few people to watch at once. I feel like this actually may hurt the value of the streams for everyone, as I don't have very many questions I can be answering during stream. So I think I may focus on opening the streams up to everyone on YouTube, so that there is more engagement in the chat. Which will hopefully in-turn provide more value to everyone!

Fourthly, I am LOVING the growth the Discord server has had so far. If you haven't joined, please consider doing so! I try to answer as many questions over there as I can. But there are also so many amazing other people in the server who can offer helpful advice!  You can connect your Patreon account to your Discord account in settings (on patreon), and that will allow you instant access to the server!

Last but not least, I just wanted to thank each and every one of you for your continued support on the channel. You are a large reason why I get to do what I do, and I am just grateful beyond words.  I aspire to make my Patreon page a more and more useful resource to each and every one of you, and hope that 2024 proves to be the absolute best year yet!
