Super 8mm Overlay - Download (Patreon)

This week I have got a really exciting download for all of you!

In this video, I set out to recreate the Super 8mm effect inside of Motion for Final Cut Pro. So I showed how to set up a video as a looping overlay for Final Cut Pro.

Then I show how to level it up using FilmConvert Nitrate which is an amazing plugin for emulating the film effect.

It's definitely not a requirement to pull off the effect. But it helps immensely in getting an extremely accurate filmic look.

I also put together a download with 4 different film mattes that you can use in FCP! It also comes with a powerful gate weave simulation, along with being set to 18fps, which really sells the effect.
