And this week we are back on Earth! This week we have 4 new corruption scenes that follow-up on the climax events of Chapter 2. The cheerleaders react to Aura throwing them out in the group date (of course with Alicia grossly misinterpreting some things :'D ), Aura and Veronica get to talk, and Aura gets to have a bit of an existential crisis now that she knows about the curse affecting her and starts to worry what exactly it has been doing. ....Her conclusions however, are a bit off, due to all the brainwashing. :'D But see that for yourself!
I was hoping to also start the next sequence of the lewd story. Basically, Aura needs to go through one last cycle of resist -> negotiation -> embrace of Richard/the curse. But while wriing the scenes, I noticed that I had neglected Rose a bit too much. After all, it's not just the fake story of George cheating on Aura, but also Richard cheating on Rose when he and Aura got into bed at the last event. So the scenes got a bit longer than intended but Rose got some time to also be relevant in all this and trigger some funny reactions with Aura. ("What?! Richard cheated on me with you?!" - "Is that so surprising Rose that he would pick me over you...? (Wait, I shouldn't be bragging about this!!!!") It was fun to write.
In addition to the scenes in involving Aura, we also have a scene that will start off the next story section on the Rose and Richard part which will play a role in breaking Aura's final resistance. The details of course I leave to you to discover in the scene. :D And finally we also have a new scene involving George and Rose, and this time Rose blaming George for cheating on Aura. So yeah, overall quite a lot of Rose focus in this week's scenes.
Yesterday, I mostly spent on integrating the new Luciela and Demon King Richard character artworks. Luckily they mostly only appear in the Intro and then only have minor appearances late into the game. Today I also finished discussing the briefs for Roland 7-8 with Emubi. Probably the most complex CG set yet, so let's see what that will bring.
On the side of our assistant developer Trihan, he has started developing the third Roland quest which you can start from, well, Roland. :'D There isn't a lot yet to see, but the basic infrastructure is getting setup (at least so I have heard :D :D :D )
Alright, and that covers the prerelease update for this week! Next week, I will be doing the first round of setup for the Mansion of Lust quest. Our mapper has finished the first couple of maps, not everything I need yet, but good enough to get started.
