ITCH | MEGA | ITCH-DELUXE | MEGA-DELUXE

The reverse summoning ritual development continues. I was hoping I could get to the second encounter stage, bug ended up just a bit short of that. I won't be posting too many details, since that means quite a lot of spoilers. But the plot is moving along quite fast, controlling the pacing is also what's kind of difficult. I don't want to make the scenes too long and overload stuff, but also don't want to feel it to be rushed.

I think I ended up with a decent compromise but it definitely could use more iteration, but I think it's on a level now where its just better to come back at a later time and iterate. Then, besides the Reverse Summoning Ritual, I have also integrated the new Elizabeth character artwork.

Apparantly the George beta smile is genetic or something. Continuing on from the art side, I have today also prepared the brief for Roland 6. In order to be able to catch up a bit with time, I am trying to go for a rather big asset reuse in Roland 7-8, so we will need to see if that works out. Still in the process of discussing with Emubi there.

Moving on to the next area, our assistant developer Trihan has finished a major refactoring of vice event logic. Basically applying a lot of improvements that have been made to processing lewd events like making them more tag based to the vice logic. Besides generally cleaning stuff up, this should make Vice related interactions and passives easier to develop in the future.

Aaaand that covers most of it. We also have a couple of other minor improvements. For the full list of changes, as usual check out the full changelog also containing the changes from the patch release.

I'm getting a crash whenever I choose the Shop option with any vendor (confirmed on Trademond Black Priestess and Alchemy vendor and also confirmed this occurred both in a save from previous version and in a New Game). I just downloaded this version off of itch but I don't see any of the changes appearing. Went to the clear room to see the Elizabeth scenes but there was no artwork, couldn't find the Labyrinth of Happiness quest and the reverse summoning ritual questline still stops after confronting Claire and Alicia takes over

Hey are you sure you downloaded the prerelease? I just downloaded it quickly and went into the clear room to double check that for examle the Elizabeth artwork is there.
