A couple while ago Patreon banished the option to filter by post tags into a separate Tab called collections but also expanded the ability to, well, bundle certain posts into collections.

I have used the ability to bundle tags to create some collections. Downloads which is just the downloads tags and leads you to the links with the mega downloads, Roadmap which is again just the roadmap tag :'D and takes you to the bigger roadmap posts.

And then Development where I bundled all dev update tags releases/devlog/etc, and Assets where I bundled all asset tags such as art/writing/sound/etc.

I am not entire sure if this is in any way useful to be honest. I mean I could imagine curating Downloads and Roadmap like this could be helpful to new people but otherwise, I feel like no one is going to go through Development or Assets collection. Also I think in contrast to the feed they are sorted backwards so it makes going through older posts easier but do people do that?!

In this post I would just like to ask for feedback, should we maybe just curate Download and Roadmap and remove the other two? Or are there other Collections of posts that would be helpful to you to curate like this? Or does nobody even use this feature, I have no clue not like Patreon gives me any statistics on this :'''D

Or maybe you have seen a very useful way to use them at some other creator, if so please share!

I think you should let the development collection be as it might be kinda nice for new patreons to go through once they are all caught up to the game and waiting for the next update. Not particularly sure about assets though

I second this, but am probably not the right person to ask. I keep up to date with each subscription I make and will only use tags individually as I subscribe to a new one. I still see development being huge, as your dev updates raised my standards for creators and it's a nice thing to see as a weary new sub to see consistent communication from the developer
