And in this new episode for the second season of Death Note ---- Uh... Wait, sorry, I mean in this week's episode of Umineko! No, wait, that's wrong too... Um, ah right! In this week's new prerelease for Star Knightess Aura. :'D Uhum. So, in this week's prerelease we finally start the main event chain that will conclude Chapter 2-B on the real world corruption side.

Instead of the usual bunch of little scenes we only have 2 scenes this week, 1 of the usual short ones to kick-start the events and then we have a very content heavy scene where Richard and Aura kind of face off against each other in the weird usual Death Note/Umineko-esque way in a bet whether or not George is cheating on Aura. Instead of going further into details and spoiling too much, I will just drop one teaser screenshot. :D

As I mentioned in the project plan, doing also the actual event Aura Cheating on George 3, was definitely too much for this week. I started working on it yesterday and finished the first sub-scene but for the rest I am currently still working on the manuscript. So I will continue work on that one next week. Perhaps I will be doing a redeployment of this prerelease to early deliver the scene, we will see.

Then, we also have progress in the art department. Emubi had some family stuff going on which is why he was a bit inactive in August, but he has been trying to catch up quite a bit since September started. First of all, the art unification project is now complete as the Slime's artwork has been redone as well. And as you could see, the various different elemental forms also have different looks. Finally, Emubi also delivered the necessary variations for the Roland BJ scenes so that Roland 5 is now also illustrated.

And that's mostly it. A little technical improvement from our assistant developer Trihan, who started working on a selection menu for skills similar to the item selection menu. It's currently used in John Rising quest so instead of a choice menu where you have to select Next all the time, you can now pick the skill in a scrolling window. This should in the future simply all instances where Aura has to pick from a wider range of skills.

Alright! And that's it for the week! Today I discussed with Emubi the second Rose sex scene, so he will be working on that until probably the middle of next week. And then I want to immediately give him the Aura Cheating on George 3 scene so that hopefully we can have it illustrated for the 0.35.0 release. Other than that, I will then jump back to the Reverse Summoning Ritual quest.
