After the last couple of months have been mostly setting up, we enter now the phase of closing out Chapter 2-B. I was hoping I could do it over August + September and keep the total delay in Chapter 2-B to 1 month, but I was just a bit too slow with a couple of things here and there, leaving some side content left-over. So current goal: Finish Chapter 2-B by the October update. To get there, here's the plan for August!

Week 1: The big main event that needs to get started in Chapter 2-B is the reverse summoning ritual on the Roya side. In this week I plan to work out the details of the event, what kind of mechanics will be needed for it, etc. etc. I had hoped I would have been able to sneak it into some other dev week during the last months but that was a complete nogo.

And then after the concept level work, I will be starting the event, but you won't be able to to play too far most likely. Really just some area map setup stuff and initial technical work.

Week 2: Then we will be going into the real world. There we have two types of events I would like to work on: A couple of Chapter 2-B side events, not yet sure which ones exactly, but it will be either Rose stuff (including the second sex scene with Richard, except it's gyarufied Rose) or lewd streaming.

Whichever I choose, the other one I will then tackle in September. And then, for the second half of this week, I plan to start the main story sequence that will lead to the final Chapter 2-B main story event where Aura and Richard will be having sex. And then finish the sequence including said sex event in September.

Week 3: From there it's back to Roya, but this time we will be in Winterfall again. In this week, I plan to mostly finish the Winterfall storyline by doing the final boss fight event. I feel like I will be just a bit short in time to connect this into the content that leads to the dungeon where you will then find Richard's anchor, so that's probably the last bit that I will need to finish either in Week 4 or in the September update.

Week 4: And finally I will be continuing to work in Verdeaux. We still have the Verdeaux Duelists sidequests hanging around, again something I was hoping to sneak in here and there so it would be done by now. Well, now it's definitely time to wrap it up, so that's what I will be starting with in this week.

And then it's back to the Reverse Summoning Ritual. I'm not sure how far I will get as I promised some friends to go with them to Gamescom (gaming convention in Germany) on that week's Thursday & Friday. I'm mostly otherwise treating the week as a buffer week to finish off whatever didn't get done in the previous weeks.

Art Commissioning Plan

No major updates here. Check the July project plan for the plan of the upcoming months. Just perhaps pessimistic warning: After last month, which was financially very successful, this month was probably the worst one in a long, long time. It's not over yet, but depending on how much we drop due to end of month cancellations it's possible to fall under the 6k goal (=budget for the extra character art).

I will be waiting a bit with the poll for the next character art to tackle after we finish Slime to see if we can keep above the 6k goal. The chances are quite good, assuming that most people who wanted to quit this month have already done so, so maybe the end of month cancellations won't be as bad as usual.

UI/UX Development

Next month, our assisstant developer Trihan will be beginning work on the custom menu for the Blessing skill, which I posted here a couple of weeks ago. Our UI designer is still busy iterating the design for the custom crafting menu, but I think we should be able to also start development on it next month.

For our other freelancers, there aren't any updates. The high corruption sex BGM is still in work, currently collecting feedback for it for our composer. And the second Roland quest from Absurdity will be moved to September.

Aaaaaand that completes the report on the plan for August!

Hi from France! I already bought the game from Itch.io (twice) but just got the 5 bucks membership to help balance the budget. Your game is well worth it. I loove the insidious slow mind bending mecanism and the writing, keep up the good work. Auf widersehen!
