In another entry to the poll series of "Is it worth it", I'd like to know how many of you find the offer from the slavery guy in Nephlune worth it.

Effectively it represents a passive income of 100 Gold / Day at a cost of 0.1 Corruption / Day. But it does take 10 days until you can get your reward, locking you out of your initial investment for that timeframe.

i think it wuld be wörth it if there wuld be some contant with the slaves later on. it can also show how far aura is. as in, the more vice she acumilates, the wörse things she makes the slaves do. (just my opinion)

I do this as soon as available, and keep doing it. At this point in the game I'm not struggling for money or drowning in corruption, so it makes sense to invest. I also want access to the Homewrecking quest, so I need the Infamy. From a roleplaying perspective too, the detachment of this deal makes it more palatable than turning a farmer family into Aura's personal serfs at the stage when this content becomes available. On that note, as much as I like the Albrecht Vice route, Aura's reaction to how it resolves also seems a little too sociopathic for early Ch.2.

I can see a possible Ending here where aura is so Horny and corrupted she Sells herself into slavery.

You can create additional situation, when if you do a lot of investment in slavery and have event with slave maker in festival - then you can have some extra events with him or some extra benefits or buffs/debuffs

I would use this more if upon the completion of the 10 days the system to visit and collect your investment was automated in much the same way as drug withdrawal. Obviously drug withdrawal or Womb of Lust would be prioritised but it would be a nice addition if you thinking of making some changes. Maybe it could be levelled so that you start off with a smaller fee+time and have it build to the current level only with repeated use of this mechanic.

I always end up forgetting about it honestly. I think it's pretty good, as it eats up days, but it is easy to get distracted by something else

I was kind of hoping it'd lead to an enslavement route.

I think it's worth it but would love an option to up my investment after your initial one.

I agree with Mike. Would love the option to increase the investment once you reach a certain point in vice as her morals degrade.

I voted no but the answer is somewhere in the middle. From a strictly numbers perspective it is, but I feel it's use is too understated. It never feels significant one way or another. You generally aren't that hard up for cash that this is the way to solve your problem, and it also doesn't serve it's purpose as a vibe check either. You are MUCH less likely to be having money issues on a high corruption playthrough, resulting in a "free" rich get richer scenario, and short of doing it just to be contrarian on a heroic playthrough you also won't do it. I could be wrong I suppose, but I imagine there aren't too many players trying to thread the needle as it were with partial corruption/heroism since it isn't rewarded.

I used it mostly as a source of vice. Not sure if there are other methods but it is most useful there for me

It is worth it but may be only in the beginning maybe something bigger later like another slaver or advanceing to bigger deals or something that can be done once but gives heavy benefits like the ring?

I voted yes because I think it's good it's there but I wouldn't make a fuss if it was removed. On the other hand, a slaver route might be interesting to increase her vice and infamy. Maybe, there can be an option to increment the investment at each iteration. At a certain point, after certain number of iterations...the merchant could say something thing like "I sold them to the demon worshippers for 10 times the amount of profit" or something of the sort and give Aura the chance to either accept a huge return on investment with a high vice check or completely loose whatever investment she did that time. This could trigger a quest to shut down the operation or... With a high enough vice, Aura could be encouraged to invest again because the sacrifice doesn't matter as much since Aura will get enough money to make up for it somehow (the justification may be flimsy but ultimately doesn't matter since I feel like only an Aura who is a bad, evil person with high vice should be able to pick this). If Aura accepts, then the merchant could give her, her own slave...a weak civilian character who can accompany her on her adventures and whose only use could be as a meat shield because of her/his negligible attack stats. Like the slime, the slave could also be trained but only to increase DEF and MDEF. Furthermore, the merchant would explain that unlike the slime, abusing the slave, verbally, mentally, physically or sexually is what would increase their stats. So every time Aura trains the slave, she grows even more heartless and cruel and gains vice points. Aura could also choose to leave the slave in the refugee camp and refuse to train her (for a low vice check). The slave could also be an option for H-scenes where the day begins with 0 willpower and the "Masturbation is not enough" perk has been activated. I'm sure a lot of people might think this crosses the line... which is fair, this was just my answer to a series of Wh questions in related to the investment quest...
