We charge forward in the battle for progress. The main goal this month is to clear out as much as possible remaining setup work for the final parts of Chapter 2. Of course won't be just main content, I will also be working on side content for 1 week, this returning to the Magic Academy with the focus on the Slime Summoner Club. Let's take a dive into the weekly breakdown to see what this means for the project!

Week 1: It's been over two years since the first Slime Bonding scene got added to the game and this week will be the week where it will finally get its two successors. This week I will be adding the Slime Summoner Club to the Magic Academy where you will be able to obtain the Summon Slime II spell and also perform rituals to further bond with your slime. Expect also some other slime related skill content there like the remaining morph skills. For the CG I might just do fadeto black as usual, although I plan to reuse the base CG for the first bonding scene but I want to have some variations that show your slime having grown. Maybe I will just use it as a stand in, maybe not. Depends on how much these variations would diverge from the writing. We will see.

Week 2: Then it's back to the real world. I will be doing a couple of corruption scenes, some of the of a reactive nature like reactions to Aura blonding her hair, some of them to progress the story like another Night Club scene. There won't be too many as I also want to progress in the mental world on the memory side, where will be doing the final mental changes that will be necessary for the Richard stealing Aura storyline. Well, most of them, we also need to get rid of the second Injustice Unhappiness source, but I don't think I can fit that into this week, so that's for next month. This month Alicia will aim to make it so Aura and Richard actually already interacted in the past and get something to also fill in the first date memory she could corrupt all the way back at the start of Chapter 2.

Week 3: Then I will be continuing last month's work in Winterfall, this time focusing on the demonic side. I don't think I will be able to finish all three miniboss demons + domain areas this month, so some of this work will be completed in the follow-up week.

Week 4: Depending on how much time is left over after the demon miniboss fights from the previous week, I plan to start preparations for the Reverse Summoning Ritual this week. Mostly focusing on starting the quest structure, in particular for a side quest that involves Desmond who wants to get into the fight against the other humans but doesn't have a soul contract with Aura. I do need some maps here to make the actual content which will take us to the Entertainment Mage, and I don't think they will finish in time, but I don't think I have the time to implement everything here anyways. But it should be good prep for the next month.

Art Commission Plan

CG commission wise, it seems the clear winner is Wearing Richard's Ring 4. Then we have a about the same votes for more Brothel content and for more Roland scenes. Since sadly Emubi was a bit slow and wasn't as available last month, we didn't get any of the planned progress in for the Bothel Full Service Job. Only today did we discuss the brief for this one, so I scheduled it together with wearing Richard's Ring for this month. And then the soap job and one roland scene for next month. Overall this gives us the following art commission timeline.

Since in August we will finish project art unification, I will also start up a poll soonishly as to which characters should receive character artwork next. For the September H-CG slots I will most likely schedule the H-CGs for the main story real world lewd scenes that will get added during these months.

BGM Commission Plan

The soundtrack we got last month for lewd scenes wasn't quite what I had in mind; although it fits nicely to some scenes which is why I decided to keep it. But for the darker penetration sex scenes, it's not the fit I was looking for, so we will be doing another attempt there this month.

Writing Comission Plan

Absurditiy will be writing the second Roland quest this month so it can be implemeted in August. Like the first quest, there won't be any direct lewd content here, but there might be intersections with other lewd content to put some more incentive on taking it. Other than that, it being Roland related there will of course be more Vice choices.

UI/UX Commission Plan

Finally, with the battle flow improvements out of the way and the UI overhaul having had some time to settle, I have started planning out the last UI improvements we will be doing for the 1.0. release. Trihan has also started gathering some inputs from players. If you have anything you can also share it here as a comment to this post. My personal ideas was adding custom menus for crafting (Usable for example when giving ingredients to the Alchemist) and blessing.

I am not really interested in doing more big overhauls. Instead what I'm looking for is to have UI/UX polish improvements that have a good effort : impact ratio. Custom menus to simplify workflows I implemted using basic RPGMaker building blocks seems like a good place for this. 

I haven't yet started working on any briefs, just mostly simple budget plannings, and brainstorming, nothing concrete yet. But I hope to give some first briefs to our UI designer somewhen this month.
