Identifying the Weakness of Bloodshot Eyes (Patreon)

From the previous poll it seems like the one drug item that is not considered useful by a large amount of players is Bloodshot Eyes. I would like to inspect in this poll if there is a problem behind this or maybe it just happens to be the case because the main use case this item covers doesn't happent too often.

I will briefly elaborate the design idea behind the idea before we jump into the actual poll. Here are the main purposes for this mini-Star Knightess-like item.

• Cheating sequential boss fights. Since the Star Knightess can only be used once per day, sequential boss fights can't be cheated just with the Remove Collar action. Bloodshot Eyes gives a second Star Knightess-like powerup for cheating such sequential battles. Examples are the battles Toll Bandits, Sathanas Subordinates -> Sathanas, Belphegor Barrier -> Belphegor.
• Getting a strong battle power up for less corruption costs. Instead of the 4 (Possibly 6) Corruption cost for using the Remove Collar action, consuming Bloodshot Eyes only gives 1 Corruption. However, this is offset by the additional costs of giving 2 Addiction, costing 650 Gold and giving Exhausted until the end of the day.
• Temporary slime powerup item. I don't think this needs to be explained further. Slime can also consume Bloodshot Eyes for powerup without needing to worry about Addiction or Corruption.

Here we come to the question: What is the main reason you do not consider Bloodshot Eyes a useful item?
