And here we go into the last month of the year. Also the last month before I will be switching to full time. My last work day has been settled to be the 16th of December. 

I am currently a bit unsure how accurate the project plans will be for December and January because besides the actual game making I also have some business running errands to perform the transition. On the slightly worrying side, I have done some reorganization of my bank accounts but somehow the payout service I have been using to manage the itch payouts hasn't approved of it yet. A bit worrying because, without going deeper into this, we will have problems doing payouts from itch sales.

I will also need to organize a move, as I plan to move back to my hometown. I only moved the city that I currently live in because of the day time job I have, but my family and friends are all in my hometown that's 600km away. ...And apparantly finding a new place in my home city has become pretty tough :'D

So yeah, besides the game making, there's some transition stuff going, nevertheless, my project organization is fairly modular so it's only going to affect how much content makes it into the release, it doesn't endanger the release from happening.

Anyways, the two main goals for this month will be reaching the next milestone in the Rose corruption story line and to get the Rosemond storyline, that has been waiting since forever, started. And I think making these two goals won't be too much of an issue, especially since December has a 5 week dev cycle.

That gives us this kind of project plan. The main things are the week 3 and week 4 dev weeks. I will probably already get started during the end of week 2 and likewise, I will probably stretch the week 4 dev week into week 5. So for these I don't have any worries, the week 2 and week 5 dev weeks, I might not get as deep into them as I wanted to.

Let's take a closer look!

Week 1: The usual. In addition to bugfixing and some minor technical stuff. Also those who follow on Twitter probably saw the new mental change that makes it so Aura uses a new default facial expression. 

Besides that, the main contribution will in the area of balancing. Luck has been majorly reworked. I will talk about the changes in Friday's changelog, but basically it has a stronger effect and also it affects Evasion probability and Damage variance. And then there are bunch of very minor balancing changes that I don't expect to have a major impact on players who do a full lewd / corrupt run, nor on those who do a full purity run. It's a lot of minor number tweaking for those who are inbetween kind of doing more of a roleplay run.

In general I try to longer majorly upset the balance, in the same spirit, I don't expect the Luck rework to affect those who neither liquidated luck in the festival nor infused all the Avian Feathers. However, those who have a lot of luck modifiers will most likely experience a significant buff. On ther hand those who liquidated their luck to 0 at the Festival:

Well, it won't be that terrible, but there will definitely be a noticeable drawback. I will write more about the concrete changes on Friday.

Week 2: Next week I will do some more foundation building and work on the memories in the Memory Room. Only the Rose ones are relevant for the following Rose week, so I will focus on these, but in general I would like to already build up most of the memory recollections if I have the time. There won't be any mental changes for them on during this week though.

Week 3: The main focus of this update will be to reach the Rose sex scene including Aura witnessing it and it messing with her Luciela theories. The Rose story line will be concluded for a while until we start the next segment witht he 'Rose infiltrating cheerleaders' segment. (Because infiltration are known to work so well in the SKA world :'D)

That will take some more time though since there some other story lines (especially George) that we need to progress on first. Without spoiling too much, I will reveal that Alicia will require Rose to have a makeover like Aura to join; meaning Gyaru Rose artwork will soonishly need to get scheduled in the art commission plan.

Week 4: The other main thing I want to work on is implementing the first events of the Rosemond storyline. Albrecht and Nadia together with this storyline were some of the first elements of the story. Now with all the corruption setup, Aura is all prepared to accept a quest to do some homewrecking on their relationship.

Week 5: And then the last week; not sure if I will get to this. You may recognice this point from the last month. I will give it another try to integrate the first iteration of Verdeaux. I still haven't found a new mapper, somehow everyone starts to stop reacting the moment I ask for a portfolio :'D.

However, a patron, Terekov, has offered to help a bit out in the mapping department. They prepared the smaller maps I need for the Rosemond story line; although I suspect a full city map might maybe a bit much for volunteer help.

I hope we can find someone, let's see. In the worst case, I will then move this one into the next month again. It doesn't hurt us yet, as there is still plenty to implement in Trademond and Nephlune, but I want to be in the position to start stuff like the Magic Academy or the Brother Job.

Alright, post is already growing longer than I intended, I will call it a close here and like I said above continue my report on the balancing and luck stuff on Friday's devlog post for the prerelease.
