Project Plan: March (Patreon)

That time of the month has arrived again. With the latest release done and a quick hotfix pushed out yesterday, let's shift our focus to the new content coming up in March. Originally, I had planned to get started on the Underground City this month and push further towards the Drug Dealer content there, which is fairly important since that's where the first available sex scene will be.

However, there's been a bit of a backlog building up and there are several things I would like to address and also I would like to further progress the corruption path, so we will be moving the new Isekai content back 1 month and instead focus on the corruption and lewd content in the real world I want to tackle. With that being said, let's have a closer look into the project plan.

Week 1: Partially the usual stuff, partially some work on integrating Womb  of Lust into all difficulty modes. In the prerelease on Friday, you will have this curse on your save not matter the difficulty you are on. In order to not make the game harder, however, I have performed various balancing updates regarding the availablity of Blessed Water so that it periodically restocks since the start of the game. Also, Womb of Lust will (or rather has already been extended yesterday) to trigger a masturbation lewd scene on day start if willpower is 0. This way, you won't get stuck with a very weak Aura.

Together with the integration of Womb of Lust into lower difficulties, I have also performed various other balancing updates to some of the difficulty modes. I will talk more about these on Friday since this post should focus on what's to come and not on the content I have worked on since the start of this week. 

Week 2: I just called it "Backlog". Basically, there are a bunch of smaller things that have been building up and I never got to do them. Especially from last month; I still haven't integrated the beginning of Mountrainreach, or added some side content for Nephlune. Also I have been forever meaning to write some slight variations for the John lewd scenes so I can remove the condition of needing 1 lewd scene to occur before the other. I will probably still have some more backlog open after this week, but I hope that I can at least reduce it in this one devweek.

Week 3: The first of the two corruption focused weeks. With the newest lewd events, it will finally be possible to trigger the mental changes that start the real world lewd story line. We probably won't be getting too far this month, but I hope we can at least reach 1-2 real world masturbation lewd scenes.

Week 4: In the second corruption focused week I will pick off where we left off last month and continue on integrating the new appearance changes as well as implementing further mental changes that are necessary prerequisites. I don't think I will make it to the new clothes because they require a change of Aura's favorite color to pink which involves some more mental changes. (I honestly kind of forgot about those lol)

In terms of commissions, there are currently some administrative troubles. Due to the increase in income, my government is making things more difficult for me and requires more administrative work especially regarding accounting and taxes. Because of this I even put up a very boring patreon goal for outsourcing this increasing admin work. 

I don't think there will be any troubles for commissioning Emubi, but our writer, who is an EU citizen, needs to wait a bit until I receive some additional tax numbers I need to continue commission him. Our writer is also facing several issues since apparantly he has fallen victim to idenity theft and it being used in the cyberattacks against Ukraine. He had to disband his company and make a new one due to the bad press. So yeah, lots of weird and bad things had been happening in February. Neverthelss, I hope that all these government interactions will sort themselves out over the next 1-2 weeks though, so I expect that we can at least perform the Hermit 3 commission this month.

Speaking of Emubi, in terms of art commissions, everything is proceeding as usual. The commissioning plan looks as follows:

With last month's excurse to the apperance changes done for now, we will refocus again on H-CG production. This month I want to finish the formula peddler scene and get a H-CG with which I can do both Customer Service scenes.

Regarding the upcoming H-CGs, I will make a poll towards the end of the month. Right now we have actually caught up quite a bit, so the pool of options is fairly small. Towards the end of the month, there will be a bit more to choose from.

Also, the poll regarding the itch.io sales money ended yesterday. The winner is the UI design.

Sadly, the UI artist who created the initial mockup has stopped responding since a month. :(
I have started searching for a new one, but I wasn't able to invest too much time into this. I also had some troubles with our current mapper due to his map deliveries being constantly delayed and recently also filled with several mapping errors...

Until I have brought everything with our existing freelancers in order, I probably also don't have too much time to search for a new UI / UX artist, so I think I will postpone further activies on the UI redesign until April. Unless of course, the artist I have been in discussion with comes back.
