I started some discussions with the UI artist and he provided a first mock-up of the main menu. (The characters are obviously just demo placeholders)

looks nice just please make it so it can still used with a keyboard and not require a mouse just for the menu. I hate rpgm games where you have to use the mouse. prefere the keyboard to be able to to stuf quickly

Yes, I informed the artist that the UI should be perfectly usable with any of the common input methods. (Keyboard, mouse, controller, touch (android)).
