Ho ho ho! The christmas present is here.

This week was mostly a corruption focused week. I finished opening the last remaining room in the Main Chamber - the Instincts Room. And with the last room finally out of the way, I was able to get restarted on the usual corruption content, that are the real world scenes. In total we have 1 new common scene, 7 new corruption scenes, and 3 new mental changes.

So let's get started with the Instincts Room!

It currently features 2 new mental changes. There was one proposal I liked in the comments and decided to base the introductory mental change around it. Alicia can choose a bodypart as the sensitivity focus and any other secondary stat (e.g. Exhibitionism) as the fetish focus. Scenes involving them will then require more willpower for Aura to decline and make the related secondary stats grow faster.

There is also one more mental change available in the Main Chamber itself. If you want to, you can have Alicia strenghten the corruption gain from removing the collar. 

In terms of real world scenes, I mostly focused on writing scenes for the introductory mental changes in each room. Expect a follow-up to the dating scene with George, scenes focusing on the development of the Vice stat that eventually lead to Aura gaining an improved Theft passve, that allows her to rob more than just some ropes and apples.

Furthermore, there are 2 more scenes giving a bit more focus to Richard (and one of them also to George I guess) to develop their characters a bit more since the both of them will be gaining a bit more screentime going forward in Chapter 2.


On the technical side, if you start up the game, you will notice that the screen resolution has changed to 1280x720! Many thanks to Gaurav's support. It's possible that the change has brought some unwanted bugs because suddenly some characters who should be out of sight are now in sight. I fixed quite a few but didn't replay the full game. If you play the prerelease, please keep an eye out for that kind of issue!

That's pretty much it for this week. Next week I will be working a bit on side-content in the old locations. At minimum I plan to implement the Modelling Jobs 2 & 3. Depending on how much time I have left, I plan to then add more NPCs focusing on lore & giving out information about monsters that gets logged in the Compendium.

Good to know we'll see more of Richard. It felt like he had been a bit neglected.
