Final month of the year! Let's have a look at what content will be coming up this month.

Week 1: As ususal, the month has started with bugfixing work for the previous release. Thanks a lot to all the people who have reported bugs as usual! Other than that I have started working on a compendium where you will be able to see Aura's corruption progress and also where encountered enemies will be logged. Here a short sneak peak.

Week 2: Next week, I plan to continue working on Nephlune to bring the city a bit more to life. The main focus will be continuing the main story through the introduction of the bar job. I will be commissioning the standing art tomorrow so that we will most likely have 3 new costumes once 0.14.0 releases.

Week 3: I will be working on opening the last two rooms, and then all the chapter 2 rooms will be accessible!

Week 4: With the room work finally done, I plan to go back to the usual rythm of writing corruption scenes. There are just a few more setup common scenes that I plan to write in this week, and then get started with the some new corruption scenes. Since every room has at least 1 mental change implemented, there is already quite some content queuing up.

Week 5: In the last December week, I plan to go back to the chapter 1 areas Trademond/Refugee Camp/Riverflow and plan to expand them a bit. Mostly the refugee camp and Riverflow will be seeing new NPCs/expansion of existing ones. In particular, I plan to expand on the modelling job from the Riverflow artist and add some lewd progression events.

Art commissions: As planned, this month I will be commissioning the costumes for the bar job and then the John H-CG. Sometime this week I will post a poll for selecting the H-CG for next month. A more long-term plan over what I will be commissioning in the upcoming months, I plan to prepare next month.

Writer commission: Sadly, the patreon has failed to retain the goal above 2k€. This also happened last month and I was quite positive we could grow enough to be back above 2k€ by the end of the month, but as you can see, that did not happen. Even though the new release schedule brought in an increase in patron count and also some itch sales, the end of month cancellations of November  were quite overwhelming. Therefore, there will be no writer commission this month.

On a side note: I have recently calculated the amount of money that would be needed for me to go fulltime (keeping the re-investment plan of first 1k€ + 20% after that in mind), and added it as a goal to the patreon. It looks quite out of reach with us having entered a state of decline rather than growth, but at least I have a fixed number now.

I mostly consider it a decision by the public player base whether they want to support a unique and innovative game and enable me to produce & commission more content, or if they would rather buy a McDonald's Happy Meal instead...

Funding probably took an extra hit this month due to Black Friday. Looking forward to all of this, including the Compendium.

You know I could inrease my funding for you if I drop a couple of other projects I am supporting. And in all honesty, I might just do it. Out of every project, there's only one that updates as frequently as you and gives quality product to boot.

While I would be happy, I don't feel like that's the solution. Imo everyone contributing either by subbing on patreon or buying the itch build has done his part and I don't really want to pressure people into increasing their tier. Ultimately, I would like to see more free players contributing, considering that we "just" need 1000 subs to reach the full time goal.

Eh, I'll think it over. But in all honesty, you're one out of two people I support that deliver consistently. I think this should be rewarded.

I agree with you not only does he update regularly like he says but I have supported people who stop or quite without saying anything.

It's a lofty goal. I see successful RPGM devs who have been active for several years and making less niche games (male MC, harem), and they're only now hovering around that mark. I think SKA has done very well for its first year.
