Since there were only some very minor bug reports except for one bug I just go earlier, there will be no public patch today.

Alright, after clarifying today's release let's jump into the prerelease! Before we jump into the big focus, which is definitely the advancement of the main story, let's get some other minor progress reports out of the way first.

On the art department, we have 3 new expressions for Alicia, giving her quite some new ways to show her anger and disgust. Yay!

I also got a little sketch update from our artist on Aura's casual cloth design.

Now that we have gotten that out of the way, I have continued quite a bit on the current Festival. You can now finish the second segment, which involves a bunch of cut-scenes, some mini puzzles, playing some rigged blackjack and rigging it back, as well as fighting with some unique game mechanics.

I only finished scripting everything today and didn't test the mapping at all. Expect loads of bugs and balancing issues, but in general everything is implemented and written. If you are curious about my plans about how "major" curses (curses from the demon generals) are going to affect the willpower mechanic, I definitely recommend you to check out this prerelease, since Aura will get hit by Mammon's curse. There are also quite a few more story developments and mysteries.

The only part missing to complete the Festival is now the actual boss fight against Arwin. Though I feel that the segment I created this week can still be majorly improved with some additional side content, especially a couple of lewd scenes. But I will probably make them at a later point in the future. I have at least setup a couple of hooks here and there to make insertion of at least 1-2 lewd scenes easy. 

Next week I plan to switch over on mental change dev, as announced, in the project plan. I will probably also do some prep work for the boss fight and with a bit of luck I can finish it off in time for 0.10.1 (No promises here though). 

I have also progressed a bit on the search for an assistant writer. I got some good applications and have at least 2-3 candidates as of now. I will probably give hand out a test commission to one of them come next month.

Nice work. Will curses affect real world Aura or just lord of the rings Aura?

I just fixed a bug where exchanging Perika affected the blackjack rigging because I used a wrong temporary variable. I suspect that happened to you. The switch should be the sole controller of the rigging.

Brilliant follow up at the festival - money magic. Well done - superb game. Only question I have is if there is enough per for collection - I inadvertently paid off debts before earning all the money from tasks available and couldn’t complete - had to restart.
