Damn... I can't believe I just watched the whole thing. Seen this movie 10 times, never gets old... It's remake of the movie Infernal Affairs, Hong Kong movie frooom google says 2002. This is also based on the Winter Hill Gang, from Boston. Colin Sullivan's filthy ass is based on the corrupt FBI agent John Connolly, and Frank Costello is based on Irish crime boss Whitey Bulger As for Martin Scorsese, if you are not familiar, you are in for a treat. He is one of the GOATs, up there with Spielberg, Tarentino, Kurasowa, etc. Treat yourself to Goodfellas(one of the greatest gangster movies, Raging Bull the Jake LaMotta story, and masterpiece. Gangs of New3 York, one of Daniel Day Lewis's best roles. Hahahaha, shit, I guess if you do a Scorsese deep dive, I'll ride along. Good shit man, thanks.

Scorsese has won a few Oscars. It would be surprising if you hadn't seen any before. But if that is true, May I suggest Good Fellas. another 11.

As far as what was in the envelope to Dr. Madolyn from Billy, its highly suspected that it contained evidence and a plea for her to reach out to Detective. Sergeant Dignam and explain that Matt Damon had been the rat. It's theorized that Madolyn could've have given a a key to the apartment to Dignam and the two took their own justice knowing that any risk of apprehension could've resulted in Matt Damon's character getting off.

Amazing reaction bro. You know it's a great movie when your virtually silent lol. Star loaded cast and not just any stars but ones that are actually amazing actors. Jack Nichoson and Leo D. Are about as good as it gets. Scorsese is one of the best directors ever. Here is a list of his most amazing films in no order. . Wolf of Wall Street . Casino . Goodfellas . Raging Bull . Gangs of NY . Shutter Island . The Aviator . The Irishmen . Taxi Driver . Cape Fear Wolf of Wall Street is absolutely insane. Casino and Goodfellas are classic gangster films. Gangs of NY is epic. I hope you get the chance to dive deeper into his work. I also get you thinking this could have been Tarrentino. They have a lot of similarities.
