Woody Harrelson said that in this roll as a hitman he was portraying a version of his father… Charles Voyde Harrelson (July 23, 1938 – March 15, 2007) was an American hitman and organized crime figure who was convicted of assassinating federal judge John H. Wood Jr., the first federal judge to be assassinated in the 20th century. Charles Harrelson was the father of actors Brett and Woody Harrelson.

I'm 24 and my Grandfather will be turning 92 this year. I've been very fortunate.

You need to watch Sicario. Josh Brolin did great in that one as well and it is also a very intense movie. Great reaction!

Dude should be glad you didn’t whisper tails into his ear 😌

In 2014, Belgian psychiatry professor Samuel Leistedt wanted to find out which movie characters embodied psychopathic traits best. Leistedt called on 10 of his friends to help him watch 400 movies over the course of three years. The films spanned nearly a century, from 1915 to 2010. When the team finished watching all the films, they'd found 126 psychopathic characters. Anton Chigurh was ranked number one.

Great reaction. Maybe check out Michael Mann’s 2004 Collateral. Very underrated thriller.

Llewelyn is a Welsh name, I assume the character is of Welsh stock🙂

A good movie, but I think I would prefer Heat first🙂

Soul glow, Coming to America🤣

It's not super uncommon in Texas. The top ethnic backgrounds here last I checked were Mexican, German, and Irish, then the rest of the British Isles more or less by volume. I knew a Llewellyn in elementary school with a pretty Celtic first name. She was a ginger, go figure. Addendum: we also have a lot of Czech and Western/Northern Polish, who used to be "German" at some point or another.

Steve Kozlowski

You got it with your analysis of the end of Llewelyn. The whole movie stresses the message that "it's not all waiting on you". We aren't special. We aren't the star. We aren't the hero. We're just people, and we can't see what's coming, but when it does come, it won't be what we expect, and the world will just keep on turning.
