That is correct. The actress is Natalie Dormer amd she plays Margery Tyrell in GOT.

As a man who use night vision frequently, the night vision shown in this movie is crap. not even close to real life night vision. Thermal optics would have been better.

Yea you are absolutely correct that the pacing of this movie is weird. It’s definitely breaking up the book in an awkward spot. I remember being frustrated when I heard they were making the last book two movies. It would have been a 3-3.5 hour movie if they did just one. I think they broke it up because at this point they knew they had a hit that people would go see in theaters. You want people attending 2 regular length movie premieres for your wallet instead of one 3.5 hour movie premiere.

You really need to check out the books.. there is so much lost between the pages. First off, Panam is short for Pan-American... it's a dystopia America. A civil war happened where we used genetic modifications to animals and diseases to attack each other. It is explained more in the books, going back to the first book. You can actually Google a Panam Map that showswhere each district is located... most obvious is district 12 is Virginia, with the coal mines District 13, I believe it's NY and the east coast, where we have nuclear plants... District 1 is southern California mainly District 2 is most of Arizona, parts of New Mexico, up into Colorado District 3 is Utah, Nevada and small surrounding areas District 4 is the cost line, from the gulf, along florida, wrapping around to the Atlantic side, all the way up to the Carolinas I could keep going but I think you get the idea. And you can pull up a map and see. I'm not sure, or can't remember how far into the future this takes place.

Alright all caught up now. This one was definitely my least favorite of the series. Lot of buildup with no release. I liked the same stuff you liked about it pretty much. I'll be real interested to see how you feel about the next one. After that I'll share some YouTube videos with you that better explain things.

This is a bit late but I think Gale isn't going for her anymore. He even says when she kisses him that she was only doing it to make him feel better. He knows what's up so he decides to go rescue the guy she actually loves. A bit odd but noble in a weird way.

I know I'm very late to this, but "the hanging tree" and the dam part. its a "gallows song" they all knew they were going to die when they went, but they knew what they were doing was a bigger part in the grand scheme of things.
