We know it's not right to lie to our friend, but we really want to spend a casual evening watching TV. Watching Eurovision Song Contest has been our routine since we've been together, just like our Friday "Koh-lanta" (survivor) Night or "Fargo" night. XD

I'm sorry, Eurovision must come first. This is when all the gays in Europe (and Australia) unite.

petherbcl

Eurovision first, of course πŸ˜‰

song

Thank you very much for backing us up. Eurovision is a big deal for our little couple. XD

song

Thank you. By the way, we just changed the date of the diner with Helene, so problem solved. XD

Hyggeandsea

It's true though. This is when gays of Europe cannot be contacted and we put our answering machines on. Although Eurovision isn't taking very seriously in the UK, gays still watch it. France did well last year with Amir.

song

Yeah, it's the gay Super Bowl in entertainment. Amir is the only who did well representing France in recent years (UK didn't do very well in recent years either, I think). I saw this year's entree and it looks like we have very little chance to win this year. XD

Antonio

Ha ha ☺️ same here

song

Thank you, Antonio. Which country are you rooting for? XD

song

Thank you very much, Jena. We do complement each other well. XD

Dave Studs

πŸ™Š Rooting has a different meaning here in Australie! So I will be cheering for Isaiah Firebrace πŸ˜‰

Antonio

Well Croatia πŸ‡πŸ‡· (my country 😊)! Amir was great last year πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

song

Lol, what's the different meaning? I'm curious. XD

song

I will keep an eye on your country's candidate then. XD

Antonio

Ha ha Dave πŸ˜‚ I just looked it up on google! It seems Song that you are rooting Joe πŸ˜‹

Enrico Argentini

What about if your friend reads this? :D

song

She is a straight married woman who doesn't like anything about social media. So there's very little chance that she will become my Patreon and read this. No worries. XD

song

Even if she found out about this by miracle, we can always apologise. I prefer apologising than missing Eurovision. XD

Antonio

Pretty accurate actually when you think about it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜Š

Andrew King

My friend loves Eurovision and he's gay as well. A damn cutie lol

song

You should watch Eurovision with him. It's always nice to have a Eurovision night with a cutie. XD

song

Ah, that's unfortunate. But there's always next year. XD

song

One more good reason to spend a Eurovision Night with him. Who knows what will happen after a few beers. XD XD

I hope Australia win ahahahaha πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

Anonymous

What's Eurovision? LOL *Canadian*

song

It's the singing Olympics in Europe (including Austrilia), and the whole Europe will vote for the winner.

song

Australia came really close to winning for the past two years. XD

Anonymous

Yeah. We always do. Why is it that we can always get too close but not close enough to get that trophy. Ahahaha

David Proby

A good friend of mine from Croatia showed me Eurovision, definitely amazing. Joe lying to the friend, yeah I've done that before mainly because I don't wanna miss an episode of Game of Thrones when the new episode airs. So, I won't be mad at Joe for that

Anonymous

Ooh. That's cool! How or why is Australia a part of it though? Haha

Danny Provencio

Wish we would all stop feeling ashamed of watching a tv show. It's entertainment like a Broadway show or Opera or a concert in park. Am sure you would not lie about those events. Like being embarrassed you met at baths or backroom. Silly. Enjoy your shows. Not a fan of our American talent shows but when Winter Olympics come on I do nothing else but work and watch all the Olympics. Those lovely downhill racers. Woof.

OMG Eurovision? Seriously? Me and my BF used to watch all the season together on youtube. And commented about the entrance, the stage (always the most outstanding stage of singing contest I've ever watched), and the wardrobe.
