Hello!

A few days ago I wrote about my models coming with pre-supported versions from now on. I bought my first resin printer, and I intended to make test prints of all my models to make sure that everything will work straight out of the box.

However, I felt really sick during the days I've been printing here. I used gloves, goggles, and even a respirator while I operated the machines, but I was still constatly feeling headaches and burning eyes. One day I lacked a bit of breath, the following day I got some nausea, and then I decided to store everything away to see if I'd get better. I also had terrible nights because of all this. It was only when I cleaned everything up that I started feeling well again. The mere smell of resin already makes me feel ill.

I could try getting another brand with less smell, but I noticed the smell reaches the kitchen, due to how the air circulates in my apartment, and I don't want to risk any fumes contaminating my food. I feel very frustrated and a bit stupid, but I took the decision to stop my attempts at resin printing here at home. If one day my income increases considerably, I might rent a place where I can install a proper workshop, but as things are now, I don't want to risk my health.

I'll keep adding supports to my models. However, I might need to outsource my test prints, and my evolution might be a bit slower because of that. I hope I can count on your feedback, when you notice weird things in my pre-supported models. I always learn a lot from constructive criticism.

I just wanted to update you guys on my latest efforts. It's quite sad to fail at something I was so interested in, after investing a lot of time and money, but I hope you understand my case.  I don't want to fear for my health the way I did during the past few days. I'll do my best to make things easier for you nevertheless, although if I can't grow more interest in my models than what I have now, that's totally fine :)
