Hey guys! Been a quite month and not a huge amount of changes to the build, but we've been ripping out and replacing the navigation system, which took way more time to get working than we thought it would. That said, the start of it should be in place now, and we're hoping to improve on it and world map interactions in the coming weeks. 

Please play through it and give us tons of feedback on this post and our discord server for any bugs you find!

Additions

  • The pathing line now has a highlighted portion that will show you how much you’ll move in a single week

Changes

  • The nature of map movement has entirely changed! Rather than directly moving to your target, the map is now connected by roads, paths, and bridges that your army will automatically path across to reach your destination. The map has been remade to include these connections, which will allow for the potential of unique territory layouts, road buildings, environmental movement restrictions, and other qualities that will hopefully add to the depth of strategy possible.

Known Bugs

  • Left-click registration on territories is unreliable for a reason that is currently under investigation. In the meantime, use right-click to move to a territory, and press the E key while on a territory to open the territory window.
  • Sometimes while hovering over a territory, the display path will disappear and you will be unable to select that territory. To fix this, move your cursor off of the territory and onto another one, then back to the intended territory. This should reset it.
  • There is a small issue with the red line that shows your per-turn progress; if the red line happens to end exactly on top of a territory, i.e. the red line and the gray line are exactly the same length, then at the end of movement when the red line should disappear it will instead continue to show but will appear in the upper left corner of the screen. This is a purely visual bug and should not affect gameplay.

bug report the game doesn't want to continue when you win the fight against the penguins to save Kobolt the princess and the text is so blurry and all the options are too big so you can't clearly read what you even do or say to the NPC's
