The oldest home of undeath on the continent; the Bloodlit Wood is said to be where the haunt first descended upon the world.  It was here that necromancy was refined into an art-form that resulted in entirely new species, even as the worst effects of it were tamed and brutally strangled into submission.  The Haunt rules farther North- but in the crimson woods of the Vampires the haunt is instead ruled, channeled towards the health and long life of anyone who dares enter their domain.
