This took me a very long time to write, and it would mean a lot if you took the time to read it and leave a comment. Thank you!🧡

Sup folks! I hope y'all had a great holiday! As we transition into 2024, I wanted to do a bit of a retrospective. This year has been a one of change for me. While I had a lot of things planned this year, things didn't exactly go where I wanted them to go, for I am but a man, one with limitations. And this year, I think I finally found my limits. And this is a good thing! I think it's good to know my limits and adjust accordingly rather than try to brute-force my way through it and combust. That said, I want to look back and talk about the plans I had this year and what I want to do next year!

First off, I want to address The Dandy Demon

The series that started it all. I've always considered this series to be experimental. When I made the first comic, Squishmas Special, I had no real plan for the future of these characters. I just wanted to make a horny story, but then it kinda mutated into something more. I wanted to make a long-running series, but I had no idea how to do it. I didn't really plan for it, and very little development was involved beforehand. I just started with Chapter 1 and went from there. It wasn't until Chapter 6 that I actually considered doing any kind of worldbuilding for this series... which was an experiment in itself. I've never done anything like it before, and I learned so much about geography, linguistics, and even geopolitics while working on my lore.

Truth be told, I think I enjoyed the worldbuilding more than the main story itself. And eventually, I had to stop and think, "How much of this is even relevant to The Dandy Demon?".  Then I started thinking, "What do I even want out of The Dandy Demon?".

I'm gonna be real with you. I am not happy with where the comic is.

I'm six years into this series. I only created 11 chapters, and the story hasn't gone anywhere. My enthusiasm for this project has long since depleted, which is why I decided to shelve it earlier this year. I know many people love this series and the characters, and I appreciate you all for supporting me in this development. If I ever return to the series, I might do a reboot or something. Though to be honest, I really don't want to keep forcing myself to stay excited about such an old project. I love my Dandy characters, and I intend to keep drawing them of course, but as of this year, I think The Dandy Demon as I know it isn't something I want to keep doing. What used to feel like breathing life into a story now feels like CPR, and I can't look at this series without feeling a little frustrated. And it sucks to say this, considering there are so many questions left unanswered in the story. I didn't exactly leave the story with any answers.

I don't know what the future holds for this series. Maybe I'll start over. Maybe I'll find love for it again and continue where we left off. Either way, I'd rather just move forward with new ideas, branch out from my flagship titles, and make stuff that I'm actually pumped for!

And that's what Bun Bash is.

In 2022, I designed a bunny that I intend to sell off as an adoptable, but the design gave me a boner so great that it compelled me to keep it. And that bunny's name is Ruth.

She's very different from a lot of the OCs that I've made, a culmination of my less-explored kinks. At the start of this year, I had no major plans for her beyond just drawing her a lot. But around the summer, I got an idea to start a new project involving another fixation of mine: Fighting! I figured that Ruth would be the perfect vessel to explore this subject that I've enjoyed ever since I was a kid. And with everything that I've learned from making past comics, I wanted to do it right this time!

So I've been taking the time to actually develop Bun Bash. Writing, worldbuilding, art direction. I have my ducks in a row for once, and the results are promising! Next year, I'll be continuing on this course!

And no, I did not forget about Stacy & Co.

I blew a massive load on Tap Out in 2022, and I'm still recovering. That comic was my absolute favorite to work on, and I'm still very proud. That said I don't know if I'll ever have the energy to make another 50+ page comic in one sitting lol. I do, however, have some ideas planned that I want to do next year. In fact, after I finish Chapter 4 of Bun Bash, I want to start another short story that I have already written!

Unlike the Dandy Demon and Bun Bash, I've been very happy with the episodic nature of Stacy & Company, and I want it to remain a horny sandbox. This next story (involving Roxy and a new possible character) will reflect that! I don't want to talk about it too much as I already have a lot on my plate, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there~

All in all, this has been a wonderful year! I'm very grateful for everyone's support. Whether you've followed me on Patreon, bought my comics, or simply jacked off to my work. It all means the world to me and I'm glad to be doing this full-time!

I'm gonna go jack off now, bu-bye!

Tbh I kind of feel the same way about Dandy demon. I loved the concept and the world behind it but my issue with it has always been that it just wasn’t fleshed out enough. That there wasn’t a consistent story going on and it always left a lot to be desired. I do hope you continue it as a story one day because the concept is fascinating. But I’m okay with you working on your other projects that you are more passionate about. As long as you’re happy with what you’re doing that’s all that matters.

Vaga the jaguar aka spice seagoat

as a member of the furry fighting community i can say i have seen alot your works making the rounds. especially folks excited for your comics and i cant begin to explain how many folks i know that have a copy of tap out keep up the amazing work its been awesome to see it all this year ^^

Jack Smith

I have loved everything you've done. One of my favourite artists in the porno-sphere. I gotta say that while I'm enjoying bun bash, I'm a little disappointed in the lack of sexy content. Can't wait to see what you come up with regarding all your characters and comics. Excited for the coming year!

Devilwolfking

I’m hyped as hell to see what you make next year. I have a feeling it’s gonna a be good one. I also hope you find your love again for dandy demon, it’s understandable to want to take a break from a series you been working on since 2017. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next year for all your series

Mystericwolf

Looking forward to what comes out of your horny mind next year!!! I say go where your muse takes you - thatxs what makes great art! (And Pr0n, lol)

Moviejunkie

I’m excited to see what you do with Bun Bash. Ruth is one of my favorite characters besides maybe Sue, she is so big and scary yet it’s clear she has a heart just as big as her dick. I’ll definitely miss Dandy Demons but it doesn’t feel like a loss. Good luck this year.

Chaotic405

I completely understand your feelings in the dandy demon pecu. As someone who writes a fair bit myself it’s always frustrating to work on something get to a point and realize that truth be told it’s not what you wanted or thought it could be. I think I speak for a good amount of people here when I say that keeping the characters to more short single panel issues is a good compromise. It keeps the characters around. But you don’t have to force yourself to constantly think about “what next?” You know? And honestly I do kind of like bun bash better lol. Overall do what makes you the most content and what makes you feel the best. That’s what we’re here for aside from the horny of course. Either way happy new year dude!! Random questions: 1. Have you ever thought about doing more stuff with the bust drinks? And hypothetically could someone make a story on them as long as you were credited?

mrpeculiart

1. Yes! That's all I'll say for now~ 2. Sure! Folks can play around with the idea all they like!

> but the design gave me a boner so great that it compelled me to keep it. Many such cases. As I'm primarily a fan of Bun Bash, I'm excited to hear how excited you are to work on it. But I can't help but be sympathetic to those who were drawn here by Dandy. It's the best thing you can do for yourself to focus on your interests though, so I think it's for the best. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and here's to 2024!

Hope to see more amazing art from you Peculiar, wherever the story goes!

As a longtime fan of Dandy Demons I'm quite saddened by these news. I really enjoyed the character interactions and worldbuilding in addition to the art. But I can understand that if you run out of enthusiasm it may be better to let go. I'm happy atleast that the characters will remain a staple for art and I'll remain hopeful for a reboot/revival in the future. As for Bun Bash it's been fun to see you tackle a different type of comics and I hope your style of action will find itself into other future works.

GrantzKaryne

Honestly speaking: Having that desire to worldbuild then being able to follow through with it speaks volumes to your ability as an artist and as a creator. While Dandy Demon (and supplementary material) is what got me into your art, Bun Bash has been an extremely welcome presence. Love the world building, how you're going about showing combat, the strides you're taking in diversifying your drawing skillset and honestly? I look forward to whatever you do to take Bun Bash forward and whatever other projects you start in the future!

Jack Ponder

Bun Bash looks awesome! I don't mind the focus going on that primarily in the slightest. But if we see the characters of Dandy Demon in art still, that'd be nice too.

What's important, Is that you focus on doing the stuff you love doing, SPECIALLY if it's stuff that gets you going (and horny 😏 ). Sue and Sylviass can appear in any loood pic and We'll go nuts, but You should also take your own time to make Ruth cum a new lake in your world!

...I'm just here, patiently waiting for any Bryce&Beatriz content, heh~ 😅

I’m not into bunbash nor stacynCo personally speaking, I would say I’m far more a fan of DD, tho I acknowledge the faults you’ve mentioned. However, I still MUCH prefer you do what you enjoy and move forward in ventures you enjoy more than doing what I would personally enjoy. I like bunbash enough to keep supporting and I don’t plan on stopping my support. I want and would much prefer you do what drives you and motivates you. I enjoy your style of doing things and the comic format you do is one I enjoy quite a bit. To a new year 🍷 🎇 :)

Krulzikrel

I discovered you through Stacy & Co, and it absolutely blew my mind (and my pants...). I've read all of them, and I still come back to them more times than I can imagine. I just love their quirky nature, the comedic moments, and don't get me started on the characters... oh, the characters. It's just impossible to have a favorite when they're all so sexy and cool. And then you made Tap Out, which really solidified my decision to start supporting you. Never have I ever read a comic/doujin that made my heart beat like this one (by far my favorite comic of all that I've read). All of this to say, I'm super happy that you are continuing the Stacy & Co comics. I'm super excited for Bun Bash (I can't wait to see Ruth destroying some cheeks 😏). From the world-building to the minor characters, they're all so full of personality. I have a feeling that it's going to be even better than Tap Out. Wish you the best of luck and best wishes for the year of 2024! 🎉

Will Feral

> I blew a massive load on Tap Out in 2022 You're not the only one heyoooooo As someone in the minority that doesn't go feral for Ruth I will admit I miss viewing some dandy shenanigans but I still appreciate you focusing on what still turns your crank and look forward to blowing more massive loads in the new year

Kerosol

Excited for you to work on stuff that you enjoy!! Thanks for all the amazing art this year <3

Jarrell Slaton

You know I didn't really care where the smut came from so long as it was there you know? Then I read Dandy Demon ch.1. Then I found you Mr. Pecu and there was two more chapters to read and Stacy too! I read it all took in a new experience that I had earlier dismissed as not my speed by you introduced it in a way that made me care who was drawing the art and giving a fuck about those people. So in summation Dandy Demon was what got me and I'm sure alot of people in the door but it was you big dawg you kept us here. So with a heavy heart drop it rewrite, set it on fucking fire. Don't matter to me I'll be here supporting the artist to make me feel weird, crazy, and incredibly horny emotions. I got chu hommie.

Love all the content and really looking forward to bun bash
