The Future of "The Dandy Demon" (Patreon)

Hey guys! I thought I'd give an update on something that's been on my mind for a very long time and probably on some of your minds as well. Now before I go into detail I just want you to know now that I'm not canceling The Dandy Demon series. I figured by the way I'm opening this post, that some of you might be a little spooked. But I have been thinking about what I want to do for this story and characters that I've been developing for about 4 years now.

I get a lot of questions as to when the next chapter will be and it's been a weight on my mind for the longest time. There are lots of things I want to do with this comic, but the way I've been going about it just doesn't feel ideal for me. I spend the good part of a year working on a single comic, however this time frame just doesn't feel like the most efficient for a more story driven webcomic. On top of that, as i grow and improve as an artist, new ideas come up and I realize that I don't want to be working on The Dandy Demon for the rest of my life. There are other projects that I've grown excited for, bigger projects that would take more time and effort. But that also means putting an old idea on the back-burner. Caesar and Silvia have been around since the beginning of my lewd art ventures, and I know so many of you want to know what happens between them and the rest of the cast. I want to continue to tell this story, but I think I'm going to sit back and rethink how I want to go about it. I want it to continue, but I can't keep making this a big project on rotation when I would rather other projects take its place, like my other comics (Or a game even 👀). 

To remedy this issue, I think I'm going to scale down this series and treat it as narrative vignettes rather than fully fledged stories. Comic strips, single pages or what have you. Yes, this would mean that the full chapter format would be broken at this point. I can't keep spinning so many plates, but at the same time, The Dandy Demon means so much to me and it warms my heart that so many of you guys support it! And from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for making this past 4 years so fun! I hope to give all of my monsters more love, but also I'm very excited for the new things to come! ♥
