From Chris: Theatrical cut only gets the 4K treatment from Scream Factory.  Early James Wan horror before his success on the Conjuring. A bland  protagonist/lead hampers this movie a bit. Kind of reverse from most  horror today, where Dead Silence's last act is pretty good but the  opening act could be improved. Wan avoids turning this into a faux  Chucky sequel, more of a ghost story around the haunted Dummy doll.  Studio product with spooky visuals and a moody atmosphere, not a classic  by any stretch.

The Dolby Vision presentation  does what it can for a film with limited HDR potential. Made with a  dated blue/green filter, there isn't much color in the video beyond the  lead's vintage red car. Somewhat gritty PQ, not a great choice by Scream  Factory for UHD. And no Atmos audio, just the excellent but rehashed  DTS-HD MA soundtrack.

Scream Factory does provide the unrated cut on BD and moves all extras as well to BD.
