From Chris: Documentary on the influence of memes and their rise on forums like  4chan, especially regarding the 2016 election. This might have been  more relevant...if released five years ago. Strange amalgam of dry  academic tone and narration intercut with interviews of fringe nobodies  like a hippy woman out in Vegas who believes her cat is psychic.

Does  an okay job of documenting the social power of memes but takes a weird  detour into almost believing in things like "chaos magic". The director  takes a fairly sympathetic approach to her interviewees, which undercuts  many of the points she attempts to make.
