From Chris: Direct-to-video thriller from Lionsgate with Frank Grillo and John  Malkovich, though the actual stars are the younger couple, including the  guy who played Joker on Fox's Gotham. Begins as a sexy suspense drama  and morphs along the way into a violent survival thriller. A cut above  the usually leaden dreck Lionsgate loves sending us.

Most  of these DTVs from Lionsgate aren't usually that entertaining but this  is a solid thriller which keeps things interesting, though the twists  aren't particularly hard to guess for older fans of the genre. It's not  great cinema but worth catching if you like the genre and this cast.
