From Chris: I picked this only because of David Bowie. He's asked to carry a movie as a nascent actor, which works out better than it should but too much rests on his shoulders. It's not as bad as reviews suggest, but I can see how it was a disappointment for critics         considering the cast, including Marlene Dietrich's first role in decades. Almost a satire of post-war life in '20s Berlin.

Interestingly enough, Shout Factory simply reused the UK Blu-ray, only changing the region code. It even has a UK disclaimer before the main menu. Passable transfer at best, no         real restoration.
