Important Update- Delays In Work Progress Due To Partners Health (Patreon)

Hey everyone, a pretty sudden event has come up in my life that’ll be impacting my work for the remainder of the month. 

In 2019 my partner had cancer and was thankfully able to go through a quick surgery to have the tumor removed. Unfortunately we got news a little over a week ago that a lymph node in the area the cancer was has enlarged. Thankfully, it’s not growing rapidly but it’s still a cause for concern, enough to warrant another surgery to remove it/them (we're not entirely sure if they're going after just the one or all of them). 

Monday we got news that he’ll be going in for an extensive surgery December 20th (next Monday). The procedure is more tedious and longer than the first, which means a longer recovery time. I plan to be there both when he goes in and when he comes out. I’ll also be with him every day he's in the hospital (at this time, we’re looking at 3-5 days, depending how his recovery goes). Once he’s home he’ll be in home recovery for 6 weeks. 

During this time (specifically the first week) I’m going to be by his side for as long as the doctors let me, which means my productivity will be going down. I don’t intend on putting a halt on work completely; working is also a coping mechanism for me to get my mind off of life stresses, but I will be very occupied in making sure my partner is ok and is taken care of. We have family helping out too, but I don’t like to rely on too many extra hands when I know I’m capable of taking care of the both of us. 

Anyway, just thought you should all know. It's a scary time and absolutely terrible timing, but I'm sure we'll both be able to tackle it like we did last time. 

I normally don't like to post these kinds of wordy updates but with how serious this is, I think it warrants an explanation just in case delays stretch longer than intended. 

For Patreon and SubStar, I'll be doing my best to stay on schedule with rewards (so getting sketches, pinups, prints in the mail and the monthly pinup all out before the end of the month). If there's a chance I'm late, and you ended up unsubscribing, I'll contact you privately to deliver the reward(s), so no worries about potentially missing it.
