Artfight WIPs (Patreon)

Ooooh boy, it's almost July which means Artfight will be starting up soon! For those that are unaware of it, it's a website that divides users into two teams where you "battle" against each other for an entire month. The level of completion of the drawing will determine the amount of points your "attacks" will be worth. At the end of it all, one team will be declared the winner! Long story short, it's essentially a mass art trade game., with a competitive spin added to it :P 

I find the site generally crashes the first few days so the weeks leading up to the event I'll be collecting references of characters I want to draw. My biggest goal with this is drawing appealing characters, whether they be friends or complete strangers! 

Tonight I took an even bigger head start and started sketching a few I have saved xD I won't be finishing them till the event starts though cause I'm not entirely sure if these folks are even taking part this year (did my best to only sketch ones that seem active on there right now xD)

I did a LOT last year between commissions and on my downtime, I'm not exactly sure how many I'll do this time around but I'm definitely going to do my best to return attacks and give attacks as best as I can! Starting off strong with lots of full body pieces..though I know I'll likely fall to just icons / headshots if I get swamped again xD 

Anyway thought I'd share! Artfight WIPs being posted might not be too common. I tend to do just everything in one go when the event starts with how quick it goes.
