Oooh something new from me!

I think I've only done adopts once, but it was a single base with 6 or so different colour options. It went ok but not well enough for me to want to do it again xD

Well, tonight I got a sudden itch to try again, this time with original drawings and showcasing different species. I went with canines for these since that's the most common species in the fandom, lol. This was also great practice for me to try drawing out different animals! So from left to right we have a timid maned wolf, a sneaky jackal and a friendly bat earred fox! I'm going to get these done before the end of the weekend, share them with $10+ patrons and probably put them up for adoption via auction on Monday :3 Again just something fun for me to do that isn't quite personal art, but isn't commission work either.

Now to REALLY push my hand at figuring out palettes/designs. I may be trained as a 2D designer, but I wasn't trained as a visual development artist :'D Colour is always a tough spot for me, oop x'D AGAIN, FUN PRACTICE!

Super cute sketches :3 If you want to do more adopts I'd love some felines in the mix ;3

Ohhh, these are looking great! Suggestion - I use https://coolors.co for when I'm trying to determine the next character's color scheme for us. I like it because it lets me lock in colors and generate new colors around those colors with the space bar, super easy like. It's fantastic because sometimes I have a color that -has- to be on the character for story reasons. (If you already knew of it, cool!) =D Happy designing! Looking forward to seeing them.

OHH what a neat tool!! I'll totally try this out for future designs (and just art in general!) Thanks so much for recommending it!
