[UPDATE] Removing the $1 pledge tier June 1st! (Patreon)

Hi everyone! Kinda boring update, but it's important as it effects both you and I, so we're gonna roll with it!

I wanted to post a quick update letting you all know that the 'Kind Kitten' tier will be removed come June 1st. 

Why? 

Patreon is required, by law, to add sales tax onto the tiers starting July 1st (from my understanding, Europe is excluded since they've been charged VAT since 2015 or so). The percentage will be determined based on where the patron lives, NOT where I live. Not EVERY country is accounted for here. Patreon will be sending an email out to all current patrons next month (June 1st) explaining this, allowing you to know if you/your country is affected, breaking it down for you, opening the floor to questions etc etc.

Saying all this, since the Kind Kitten tier is only $1, there just isn't a reason keeping it around for how little it is, especially as it's just a donation tier. I don't want those in that tier getting potentially taxed for being apart of it. That's not fair to you guys.

To be honest, been meaning to remove this tier for a while now since I remember something floating around about low dollar tiers just not worth keeping around, but I never got around to deleting it. This is giving me more of a reason to go forward with it now.

Now, there is going to be a tool released that will allow creators (me) to go through and edit key words in tiers so that you're only get charged what is required of you by law. For example, I wouldn't want you all getting charged merchandise tax if you're not receiving merchandise every month. That sort of thing! 

I know its confusing (trust me, I'm just as confused and trying to wrap my head around it all) but I do want to make you all aware of this before you get an email about it next month, and know that I'll be doing what I can to make sure it's being done fairly (:

I really appreciate those who are currently apart of the Kind Kitten tier, but it's time here is up come June! If you want to continue sticking around, please feel free to join any of the higher up tiers before June 1st (plenty of space available in each!) and if not, I do have a kofi and a paypal.me that you can kindly direct tips too..but I understand being apart of a monthly subscription is nice (:
