Regarding FE2020... (Patreon)

I wanted to post a little update here in regards to the recent convention coming up that I'll be attending and vending at. It's my biggest one of the year, as far as income goes, and its looking like it could be in jeopardy for cancellation. Even if it isn't, attendance will be much lower resulting in fewer sales.

I feel I should mention that regardless of what happens, your support is very much needed to those vendors planning on selling at FE2020, myself included.
A lot of us rely on convention sales for income. For me its my full time job. If you no longer plan on attending FE2020, please consider purchasing from us whether its commissioned work, merchandise through our online shops, or simply sharing our posts we make online. My commission opening this month is tomorrow and I'm considering taking more slots this round than I anticipated just because I can't guarantee what next weekend will be like for me.

If the con does, in fact, have a forced cancellation, I plan to host a weekend stream, offer free shipping on all merchandise in my shop, bundle discounts ,etc. I'll be doing everything I can to try and make up for the loss. More info will pop up if this does happen.

For now, I'm still planning on attending as a vendor. As far as suiting goes, I'm on the fence right now, but I'm heavily leaning towards sacrificing my hotel room and commuting in via car every day and leaving once dealers closes. This means I likely won't suit at all this convention. Downtown Toronto is not cheap, and the hotel rooms are thus very expensive. If I'm not making my normal income this year, I want to make sure all expenses are covered. Sacrificing my room will absolute help me achieve this all while making profit on top.

So. That's my update for now. For those that have upgraded there pledges this month, thank you SO incredibly much. Its hard to say what will happen, but I'm hoping something solid comes out of this soon. The worst is not knowing.
