Thought I'd share a few WIPs with you all that are MERCHANDISE related instead of commissions/personal art!

I've had a LOT of fun ideas swimming around in my head lately. I'm very inspired to create more things and expand my art in ways I didn't really think was possible! Not to mention I want to challenge myself.

To start, the one and only...NICOLE! I'm pretty determined to get this one ordered ASAP as I'd like to have these in time for Anthrocon. I've seen VERY FEW artists make fursona pins, for the intention of strictly trading them. I LOVE the idea of collecting other artists fursonas so I'd like to join in on that too! I'd like to make them a limited run of 50. The first 10 orders will cover the costs of production, the rest will NOT be sold, but traded instead. I plan on bringing them all to conventions and making public notifications about it so people can find me and request to trade pins with me. We'll see if it takes off, but yeah! Here's the few designs I have in mind (:

Next, I'll be adding a 4th edition to my 'Wild Lynx' collection. The bobcat!

He's pretty much finalized. I'll let it sit for a while longer and go back to it to see if it needs any more adjustments, but he'll be ready for preorders beginning of June!

The little guy is going to be about 5mm smaller than the other lynx in the fam, considering he's a bobcat and all (: I'm going with a different company for this one, however. The company I worked with for the other three designs, I was no longer impressed with so I've moved my business elsewhere! The company I have in mind has already been working with me for my coyote pins, and so far they've been pretty great to deal with. I won't make a final call until I see the finished coyote pins though. The good thing about enamel pins is that there's LOTS of companies out there that produce them! Lots of variety, just takes a bit of research to do!

The next on my list of 'to do' is a hypno themed pin. This one is a little more complex than my previous pin designs, and will be done through a manufacturer that does these sort of pins. I want this pin to be more interactive, so what I have in mind for this one is two options. The lynx head spins on top of a base when you flick it, or the other option is that the eyes spin. I'm not sure what will be more effective and appealing, so I'll likely finalize both designs, post them on twitter for feedback, then talk to the manufacture and see whats best/easier to pull off successfully. Either way, I want this pin to be pretty funky. I'm thinking the enamel will either be glow in the dark, glittery..heck or even both? I'll see what I can do with it, but I'm really looking forward to getting this one going!

And finally, a more basic design.

I want to use text for this one, though I'm leaning to making this one a shirt instead of a pin? Not sure, but I like the idea. If I go with the pin, i'd like the acid/oil spill metal finish that some people I've seen do with their pins! The effect is super cool looking :3
