I'm not sure if you guys received the email as well, but creators had the unfortunate opportunity of coming across an email sent by Patreon staff early this week. Their plan is to change the way they charge processing fees, which will be starting December 18th.

From that moment on, pledges will be charged a processing fee (2.9% + 0.35 cents) on top of their current pledge. The fee was originally covered by us, the creators, but Patreon thinks it'd be better in the long run if that charge is given to those who want to support us instead..which I definitely don't agree with despite knowing the payout of my pledges will be at 95% vs the 80 some % I got beforehand. The creators are the ones using this service, it should be us paying that extra charge vs the people who just want to support their favourite artist(s).  Unfortunately I have no way of taking that burden off your hands, so it will have to be a change that we're all just going to have to deal with.

There is a petition going around and a LOT of Patreon users have been making their voices heard, so I really do hope this plan doesn't end up happening, but if it does, thats why I'm making this post..so you guys are aware.

The unfortunate downside of this change is that you all will be paying more than what you intended on paying per pledge. I've made a list of what my pledge tiers will cost with this new model:

 $1 = $1.38

 $3 = $3.44

 $10 = $10.64

  $30 = $31.22

I completely understand if some of you need to rethink who you want to pledge to (as I know many of you pledge to other artists as well) once this change takes place, and that's completely fine. I'm 100% understanding of your decision in needing to adjust or completely withdraw your pledge to me. Patreon is just a bonus. A service that allows me to share my work in progress sketches with people while also getting a little back in return for it. Its by no means my main source of income, so it's totally fine if I end up losing people over this change Patreon is making.

In the long run, I'm just..so overwhelmed with the amount of support I have from people across the internet who are fans of my work. And I'm eternally grateful to see the support YOU guys have given me throughout this short journey so far. So thank you all once again, and have a great weekend!
