It's finally here! And like a lot of my projects, this update grew way beyond its original specifications. What started out as an addition of 3 new portraits ended up... Let's see:

  • Adding 3 new portraits (six colour variants each)!
  • Adding 9 new outfits (with some colour variants as well)!
  • Fixing issues and improving the quality of all existing portraits!
  • Removing and shuffling some stuff around for the sake of consistency!
  • Completely reworking the outfit selection algorithms for pops so that now fashion is tied to ethics. As ethics change, so will your pops' wardrobe!
  • Multiple improvements and additions to the asari namelist, including removal of some names that were (or will be) made redundant by preset system initialisers!
  • Also, the namelist now supports robotic defence armies!

Now, if you've been following my posts here, you may be wondering what happened to one of the portraits I teased earlier... and to the entire green and albino phenotypes.

That's a good question and the answer is... you'll have to wait and see n_n We actually have some plans regarding those assets for when 1.8 Čapek and the Synthetic Dawn Story Pack arrive to Stellaris. We're really excited about that update and we can't wait to take advantage of the expanded modding capabilities it's going to bring!
