I think this is a very nice concept. I would recommend a bit more description of the physical look of the characters. Maybe it could it about the establishment of elves on the planet and the slow domination of the elves by the orcs and turning the elves technology back on them.

That was the general idea. For a more slow burn story. This one is currently on the backburner, however.

Yes. I could see them trying to use the orcs as warriors with a few elf officers and orc shaman. In close quarters it would be interesting.
