Oh my god REVEL YOU'RE KILLING ME the implications here though !!! First off: Vasilis must be Extremely Old to be able to pull off that long con jesus christ. Secondly... Vasilis establishing satyrs (and himself) as humanity's friends through manipulation, where he can direct the people in charge from behind the scenes. There's more humans than satyrs so the humans royalty rules over can be used to... do what exactly? Manual labor? Fight wars that may or may not create more ghosts? Explore different areas while he chills here? Can't stop rolling around in my head that he literally made up where satyrs come from, so humans could be like "cool this is my satyr bro I don't have to worry about or question. Sure he's doing mysterious stuff but he's a satyr! They're meant to help us, gods said so. Also we'll treat them in high regard but still kind of like objects." So... where *did* satyrs come from then... Are ghosts just satyrs that got fucked up? Satyrs that died in a specific way? Can't help but think about how this relates to the void since that page went up on tapas today too....
